Well, Hello There!

I'm Martha, the photographer behind the lens! I'm a Boulder mom, intent on enjoying and documenting life. I love to travel, fly-fish pretty much anywhere in Colorado, read a good book in front of the fire, and snuggle my little one.

I learned my way around a camera in high school, when my dad gave me a roll of 35mm film and taught me how to properly expose an image. When my daughter was born, I noticed every detail about her -- her tiny wisps of hair, how her smile seemed to change a little bit from day to day. I became intent on capturing all of these details.

I also began to notice that a photograph with all three of us was hard to come by. I was almost never in any of our family photos because, well, I was always behind the lens (sound familiar, mamas?). My passion for family photography was born here. I wanted to be able to give families beautiful images with all of them in the frame, but still looking like themselves. I'm interested in those moments that capture the spirit of your family's connection with one another.
